Hello again! Hope you've been rummaging through your "save-it-for-a-rainy-day" box for a zipper to play along with LESSology Challenge #50: Zip me up! How about getting some ideas from design team member Yvonne Yam's project?

Oh yes, I am one of those who loves collecting glass bottles and jars. They are so useful for storing stuff! *winks*

This was a slim one from a cold-press juice drink that is perfect for my watercolour brushes.:)

I started by adhering some remnant lace around the bottle with matte medium. Then I used half of a zipper and glued it around the bottle to cover up the joint edges.

Then I glued some pearls along the edges to make it a little prettier.:)

For the other half of the zipper, I ran a needle and thread through it to create a gathered effect.

Hot-glue to create a spiral zipper flower.

Adhere it to the bottle.

The last step is to find a charm you like and adhere it. And you have an embellished bottle for watercolour brushes!:)
