Ahhh...this challenge is so up your alley right, altered enthusiasts? Let's check out what design team members Kirsty Vittetoe and Yvonne Yam did for LESSology Challenge #25: For the love of fabric....
Hi all, it's Kirsty here sharing my project for May Challenge.
I started with making this mini album for my son....
Lione and I went to San Francisco together last summer....
You could hop over to my blog for more pages of the album, but what I want to show you here is how I put this album together...
After using Zutter Bind it All to bind the pages together, I cut a piece of chipboard backing (those that come with your online paper crafting products), punch a few holes...
and then used twine to tie the binding wire to the chipboard piece....
Here's how it looks from the side....
The last step is to cut some denim fabrics from my girl's old jeans
and use them to decorate my mini album.... tada.... here's a boyish mini album for Lione...
Hope you come play along with us!
Hello there friends! It's Yvonne here to share my project for LESSology Challenge #25: For the love of fabric.
I upcycled a sturdy box. :)
The box was given a mixed media makeover with paints and mediums for texture.
Then embellished with lots of yummy goodies from Purple Pumpkin and remnant felt pieces. That red leather base is from an over cellphone cover.
Ooooh...super fun upcycled projects involving the use of fabric! Can you think of more ways? Come join us for LESSology Challenge #25: For the love of fabric!
