Have you been enjoying the creative inspiration for LESSology Challenge #30: Kitchen Raid? How about one more before we break for the weekend? Let's see what design team member Yvonne Yam raided in her kitchen.
If there's one thing I have a lot of at home, it's wall space! So I decided that I want to make a collection of family photos using old pie plates. :)
I started by decoupaging old book paper to the pie plate. Tearing the book pages into smaller pieces and overlapping them when they are glued down help to create a little more texture. When everything is dry, apply a colour wash of your choice over it. I used Faber Castell gelatos.
I added a photo of my nephew and niece, then created a fun little "scene" using chipboard, gold mica flakes, a resin bird and blooms.
Now imagine a wall full of these decorated pie plates....with delightful pictures of these cuties...and maybe some of me...*winks*
Come play along with us...join in the fun with LESSology Challenge #30: Kitchen Raid! :)
