Curious to see what our design team did for the wall art challenge? Today we are sharing the creative inspiration of Laurel Seabrook, Linda Lapotka, Kirsty Vittetoe and Yvonne Yam. :)
Hi everyone, Laurel here! I picked up this framed item at a thrift store for next to nothing but knew I would be able to do something with it.
First, I removed the insides of the frame then I sprayed it black. Next, I used some Halloween paper, die cuts and twine to make this Halloween Decor piece. It all went together so quickly and of course inexpensively, love that!
I hope that you play along with us, I can't wait to see what you do!
I made a message board and used the TFD set call "Outta this World." This is a fun set!
I started with...
a $1.50 board from St. Vinnie's. I used every stamp in the set and ended up with this.
I even made some charms with Shrinky Dinks shrinkable plastic.
This was really a fun project. I hope you will join us and share a project you create for your wall.
Thank you Cecilia for the generous prize.
Hi, its me Kirsty..... you might not know that one of my dream is to live by the Ocean, but ah.... you know what, I am living in the desert right now.
To take me one step closer to my dream, I actually decorated my bath room with a "beach theme", but I couldn't find something I like for the wall near the bath rub, so I made my own.....
and this is really low-cost wall art, and it is so simple to make....
an old frame I picked up at the thrift store for a dollar....
painted it white and added a little bit of cracked effect...
now the recycling part, don't we all have maps from the previous road trips....
ahhhh...... now I feel closer to the seaside I can almost hear the waves.....
Hello friends! Yvonne here to share my 12 x 12 wall art canvas! :)
I'm no Monet but I love how old book pages help me be a better painter. The giraffe was from an old book page. It was a little smaller than what I needed so I "extended" the giraffe with paint and Copics! :)
A little googly eye for the giraffe.....some moss, leaves and a birdcage...
I used some texture paste and a stencil to create some dimension on the tree trunk. Then painted with crackle paint and distress inks.
What do you think of these pieces of wall art? Inspired to play along with LESSology Challenge #4: Wall Art? We would love to see your entries! :)
Please leave a little comment love for our designers. :)
