Hello there! Are you ready to check out the creative inspiration for LESSology Challenge #18: It's a Wrap!? Let's see what Kirsty Vittetoe, Laurel Seabrook, Yvonne Yam and Linda Lapotka have in store for us! :)
Hi everyone, it's me Kirsty here with my project for LESSology Challenge #18: It's a wrap! Not spending a single cent on the holiday gift wrap is my goal this year....
I found the glittered beads on an old pair of flip flaps, chain them together with 2 glittered bells from my stash
Punch a few circles with the kraft paper that came in the box with all the paper crafting supplies you ordered online..... that makes a really simple but festive embellishment for the gift box.
Next, just stamp and emboss the same kraft paper to wrap up your gift. How simple and easy is that? And the best part? I can do this with what I can find at home, no $ spent!
Hi everyone Laurel here with my version of the It's a Wrap challenge. One thing I love to do is go garage saleing or thrifting. I especially love it when I see something that I can then build a theme basket around. This year I found this popcorn maker and was thrilled! I have one that I paid full price for, it was a bit pricey but it works very well so I am happy with it. I picked this one up for $3! Yay! I knew right away that I was going to build a Movie Themed gift basket and use this as the 'box'. Now this makes me even happier because I really don't like all the waste of paper and such at Christmas time and anytime I can cut down on that I am a happy girl!
Finally, it all fits inside and is easily wrapped up with a nice festive bow.
Greetings altered enthusiasts! It's Yvonne here to share my gift-wrapping idea! :)
I love using packaging to create my own embellishments. :)
Love the plastic packaging that holds brads. The individual compartments are super fun to decorate! I filled up the compartments with coloured buttons then encased them with embossing liquid.
Did a little stamping on an ice-cream stick and canvas, added a handmade felt bloom and tag and my brown paper bag is all prettied up! :)
Happy Anniversary LESSology! Welcome to this month fun challenge It's a Wrap!
For my project I recycled a brown shopping bag that I got from a coffee shop and made a Christmas gift bag.
I covered it with Christmas Designer Paper and a Martha Stewart punch to decorate the top.
Next I used a Raisin Boat stamp called Elves on Staff to decorate the front of the bag.
Here is the video of how it went from a brown bag to a gift bag.
Now get that tape and paper out and start wrapping!
How's that to start your week of inspiration? Won't you come and play along with us? We would love to see your awesome gift-wrapping ideas for LESSology Challenge #18: It's a Wrap! :)
Please leave a little love for our design team!
