Our last creative inspiration for LESSology Challenge #42: Monogram is from design team member Lizzy Hill.

Hello my friends! Today I'm sharing a LO. Yup! Just for a change:) My friend took this AMAZING photo when she visited Salt Lake City a couple of years ago, & I nicked it off FB 'cos I adored it....not having snow in Australia, it's something that really attracts me.

And since 1/2 the world is heading into Winter, it seemed an appropriate choice to scrap:)
My recycled element & monogram are part of my title!

I usually stamp off when I'm cleaning my stamps.....& use scrap A4 photo copier paper for doing any other inky work.....this piece was actually IN THE BIN, when I realised the colours were PERFECT for my page.
So out it came, LOL!!!

I really wanted to keep this LO clean & simple [CAS], so I just used some molding paste on the background to mimic the snow idea, & a small side cluster:

Hoping this gives you some ideas for using 'monograms' on your project & as always, I am really looking forward to visiting your blogs to see what you come up with:)
Happy Scrapping ~ Lizzy ♥♥♥

For now, the grubby painty look is making me happy, besides I am thinking about storing something yummy in this box on my desk...which is why of course it has my monogram on the front. I just want to make sure EVERYONE is very clear in this house who owns the candy!

I happened to have my Halloween scrapbooking stuff out and I figured when my box did not contain any chocolates, it would be a trick! ;-)

Talking about treats, it's always a pleasure to work some really fine quality items like these flowers and this butterfly from Renea Bouquets

Won't you come play along with us over here at LESSology! Fun times await and glittery fingers!

Getting busy with your monogram projects for LESSology Challenge #42: Monogram? Shall we see how design team member Julie Tucker-Wolek interpreted this challenge?

Hi everyone! :)

Julie with you here today sharing my take on this months challenge :)

I started with the AWESOME pine cones that a co-worker gave me (her boyfriend was going to throw them away!!)  YIKES!!! Thank goodness my co-worker thought to ask me first if I wanted them ... ummmmm hello?!?!? YES!!!! :)

They are HUGE .... I put a 12 inch (1 foot) ruler next to it so you could see how big they are!

Then I had this big raw wood frame that I got on clearance at Michael's ($1.99!!!!)  -- I painted this a brown :)

Throw in some small silk leaves that I got at the Dollar Store ...

Some large metal monograms that I got on clearance at Michael's (I spray painted them a brick color)  ... and what's even better, I don't know if you can tell from this picture, but there are brackets on these to hang them up ... well... I needed an "A" (for my son Adam), and Michael's only had a "G" ... so I turned it backwards, and POOF! an "A"!! :)  and same goes for the 2 "B's" here (for Brookie and Brian) ... one is really a "D" and the other is a "P" ... flip them over and instant "B's!!!" :)

And here is the finished project!!! A Fall wall hanging for my home :)

And here are the monograms!!! :)

Since I had the holes from the brackets on the letters, I used leaves and fake acorns to cover those spots up :)

And since this is a pretty tall wall hanging, I had to have an assistant to hold up my white board for my photos ... so let's give a round of applause to my own personal Vanna White (aka .... my daughter Brookie!!!)

My aunt is a big fan of my handmade cards, since holiday is getting closer, this is my gift for her....

I modified this box to hold the personalized card set I made for her

plus a few more holiday cards, I am going with the Kate Spade look

I found this old wooden letter in my "save-it-for-a-rainy-day" stash and decided to incorporate it on my tag.

The base was packaging cardboard which I covered with a coat of gesso before applying Liqutex ceramic stucco with The Crafter's Workshop stencil for texture. Then given a spritz of Tattered Angels glimmer mist.

For the letter Y, I painted it with Silks acrylic glaze. The mist and glaze colours were added to come leftover gauze for more textural interest.

Then I embellished with mica flakes, bling, pearls and a resin bloom.
