Hi everyone!! Julie with you here today to share my take on our November challenge - Toy Story!! :)

I recently purchased a BUNCH of vintage children's wooden blocks and have made A LOT of altered projects with them and I had more left over and was inspired by a block puzzle Michelle made and decided to try making a puzzle myself :)

Here are the blocks I started with :)

And here is what it looked like after I added the "first" layer of papers on the blocks :)

Then I took four tags from the Bo Bunny collection I was using and cut them up to create my "puzzle" effect :)  And here is the four sides I turned into "puzzles" :)

And here is what the blocks look like when the puzzle is all mixed up :)

Can't wait to see what you create for this challenge!! ~~Julie :)

It's me Lynnda here with you today!... Yup... time really flies... this is LESSology last project for 2013!!! And the challenge for November is to use TOY!!!  This is pretty easy for someone who has a 9yrs old BOY!!! Matin actually helped me to choose which of his toys to use for this project!!!

These are the upcycled items- 1)For the based of my layout I used a cardboard
2)For the toy I used Matin's mini Frisbee
3)And I also found some colourful feathers from his art&craft work!
The 8x8 Layout attached with a mini album! {my 1st attempt!}

Hi everyone! Julie with you here today to share my take on this month's challenge! I had a lot of fun with this month's challenge of raiding my kitchen to find something to create with!! :)

I had these wooden spoons and believe it or not ... I had this Hallmark shopping bag in a drawer (caused I liked the saying on it ... and I knew I would be making something with it someday! LOL!!)

I made a canvas with the goodies above :)

Can't wait to see what you create for this challenge ~~ Julie :)

Hi everyone! Julie with you here today and I am SUPER EXCITED it's LESSology's 2nd birthday!! And even MORE excited that this challenge fit RIGHT into my plan for my daughter's 7th birthday next month!! We are having her party at our home, and I am making most of the decorations, the invites etc... so this fit right into my plan! I love it when a plan comes together *wink* :)

For my daughter's birthday, the kids will be decorating their own cupcakes (I will have them baked beforehand) -- and so I decided to make Brookie a special cupcake plate just for her!! :)

I had this old stand --

Ohhhhh and while I was trying to photograph above said stand ... the upcoming birthday girl herself HAD to photo bomb me!! :)

And here is what I turned it into!! Her very own cupcake stand for her party! :)

I hung pearl strands first that I punched enough 2 inch circles and 1 inch hearts to spell out Happy Birthday ... then I tied them around the plate :)

The pearl strands had strings on the end of them that I couldn't cut off, so to hide them, I glued fabric buttons from TPC Studios on each side of the pearls :)

Can't wait to see what you all make for this challenge!! ~~Julie
