Meet LESSology design team member: Kirsty Vittetoe! :)

Hi, I’m Kirsty Vittetoe, born and raised in Sunny Island Singapore but now a resident in United States. I began scrapbooking way back in 1992, I could not find any scrapbooking store in those days, I got all my supplies when I visited Australia, New Zealand or United States.

It all started with the love for paper, from a mom trying to preserve the precious memory for her kids to card-making, and now, I am the owner of a kit club, a full time designer, I spend my time playing with paper, designing kits for Pixie Dust Papeire, browsing through the latest catalog sent by various manufacturers….. and managing a few blogs, it is a dream job to me!!!!

You never know where you will find inspiration, for me, it can be from a cover page of Martha Stewart magazine to the basket of clothespin in my laundry room.

I am not sure that I have a particular scrapping style, all I know is I love trying new things and love challenges. I am truly honored to be part of LESSology Design Team.

Meet LESSology design team member: Laurel Seabrook! :)

Hi my name is Laurel and I am so honored and excited to have been asked to join the LESSology team.  This team is so full of talent and I can't wait to see what everyone does.  I have been fortunate in my crafting life, which, as a hobby is my daily 'release time', my time to unwind from a busy day as at Grade One teacher.  I love paper crafting (cards, scrapbooking and altering items) as well as painting (I have done a lot of decorative painting over the years) and photography.  To have been recognized for doing something that I love is so rewarding and I have been lucky to have been on and continue to be on, some amazing Design Teams as well as being published in such magazines as: CARDS, Scrapbook Trends, Paper Crafts and Canadian Scrapbooker.  I love crafting and am looking forward to this new venture.

Meet LESSology design team member: Mandy Dodd! :)

I’m waving from gorgeous green (though very cold) Tasmania where I live in a big old house with a big veranda that looks out over the sea with my camera-shy dh and two of my three daughters (one has just moved to the UK with her dream job) who all feature a lot in my work along with our cat, birds and garden wildlife!

My style is mostly as shabby chic - but I'll do something different every now and then. Most of all I love TEXTURE - fabrics and laces - layering and distressing, inking and PAINT! I don’t always start out with a plan – just a creative process that somehow takes form somewhere in the middle and crossing fingers it finally arrives at an end result (big smile) And goodness knows why, but…… it works!

Thank-you for inviting me to create alongside the girls on the dt who are wonderful artists I really admire!

Meet LESSology design team member: Tesa Broman! :)

Hi! My name is Therése but I'm usually called Tesa here on the 'net. I'm married with a great guy and we have a son who is ten. We live in a small village in Sweden in a house with a garden that is way too big (I can see the untended flower beds from my scrapbook room window and it sort of says to me that I should be doing something else. Good I have curtains). I got hooked on this scrapbooking thingie back in 2007 and never looked back. It was pretty rare in Sweden and the supplies expensive and mainstream. A lot has happended in the last couple of years.... I found red rubber and altered projects. The things one can do!!! And best of all are all the friends all over the world sharing this obsession. And now I'm super excited to start this LESSology adventure with you!!!

My name is Dora Dekker and I live in the Netherlands. I'm 30 years old and have been scrapping for 3 years. I never had a hobby till I found this one. I love to use all kinds of techniques, use natural products, and like to make all kind of things.Not only cards or layouts but also little projects, and love to pay a lot of attention to details.I scrapbook every day, I can't live without it, and also love to blog. I love to see others' work, and it inspires me every day, sometimes it is a technique and other times, the colors. Scrapbooking serves as a kind of medication for me take time to relax and enjoy. I have ADHD and love to be alone with my papers and crafting supplies- it gives me peace and rest. I'm a daydreamer and they say you can see it in my work.

Meet LESSology design team member: Audrey Pettit! :)

Hi everyone! I'm so excited to be here at the LESSology blog. I currently live in North Carolina with my two adorable teenage kiddos, our adoptive Golden Retriever pup, and our new baby hedgehog. I am the event coordinator at a local landscape design and garden center, as well as a part-time writer and photographer. In my spare time, I love to go antiquing and thrifting, read, and of course, play with paper.

I began paper crafting over a decade ago, when I was invited to the home of a friend for a stamping demonstration. Little did I know that party would begin a love for paper crafting that has followed me to this day. I began mostly as a stamper and card-maker, but that love quickly flowed over into scrapbooking and altered projects. I love to learn and try new techniques, and am always excited for a new venture.  I'm really looking forward to working with the amazing LESSology team. Hope you'll join us on our creative journey.

Meet LESSology co-founder: Yvonne Yam! :)

How about saying hello to our other co-founder - Yvonne Yam?

Hello friends! :) Greetings from sunny Singapore! :) I'm Yvonne and I love to make stuff! My style is eclectic at best but really a mish mash of whatever tickles my fancy at that point in time. I love to experiment with mediums and play with textures but my projects always involve some form of upcycling and loads of colour. It is amazing when you can marry fragments of scrap with an otherwise discarded item to create a wonderful piece of art! :)

As a green crafter, I try my best to make effective use of scraps and upcycle anything that comes my way before they end up on the recycling truck. While things like glass bottles can be recycled, they are often smashed to pieces and require the use of precious energy to make them into useful products again. With upcycling we can extend the life of a product without changing the basic composition of the material.

Thank you for joining me and my awesome partner Angi on this creative venture to do a little something for our environment whilst making something beautiful for ourselves. A win-win for all, don't you think?
